Persian felt wool rashti-duzi. The central field is populated by a trellis of quatrefoils against a background of flowers and vines. This field is framed by four layers of mostly floral borders - one having medallions containing Islamic script. The scripts appear to be excerpts from Persian poetry. Perforations throughout and some repair work. Circa early 19th century. Dimensions: 61" x 90"
